Two Community Resource Centers to Serve our Neighbors in Need
Both centers provide a continuum of care to persons facing crisis, instability, and homelessness regardless of race, religion, gender expression, or orientation. Our case workers, located at both locations, work together with clients to address critical needs such as housing & shelter solutions, substance abuse disorder support, mental health stability, support for bilingual and Native American populations, and basic survival needs for both housed and unhoused individuals.
🏠 Community Resource Center (CRC)
4009 South 56th Street, Tacoma
Located next to our Tacoma Thrift Store, the Community Resource Center serves individuals and couples seeking immediate support and connection to resources.
Our team can help with:
Housing and shelter navigation
Basic needs: food, clothing, hygiene, and survival gear
Mental health and substance use supports
Referrals for Native American and bilingual Resource Navigation
Support for Hispanic and immigrant communities
Open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
10 AM – 3 PM No appointment necessary.
👨👩👧 Family Resource Center (FRC)
5050 South Tacoma Way, Tacoma
In partnership with Catholic Community Services, the Family Resource Center supports families with children, multigenerational households, and young adults (18 - 24).
Our services include:
Housing and shelter navigation
Bilingual case management
Resource Navigation for Native and bilingual families
Shower and laundry access for unhoused community members
Open Monday – Friday
9:30 AM - 4:30 PM No appointment necessary.
CRC is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM FRC is open Mon - Fri, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

St. Vinnie’s Emergency Basic Needs Assistance
St. Vinnies is here to help with emergency assistance to help provide for basic needs, such as rental deposits, utilities, gas, food, clothing or referrals to other community resources. We continue to provide assistance through St. Vinnie's Homeless Prevention & Basic Needs Program to those living in Pierce County facing immediate financial crisis on a case-by-case basis.
You do not need to be a member of any religion or faith to receive help. We welcome all who seek our services.
Ways to Get Help:
(Fastest) Come to either Resource Center (check hours for each locations) and see a case worker to discuss how we can help. No referral or appointment required.
