St. Vincent de Paul Tacoma, Pierce County now operates two resource centers to better serve our Neighbors in Need. The Family Resource Center, in partnership with Catholic Community Services, opened Nov 3rd and is geared towards families and young adults (18-24). Both centers provide compassionate, no-cost support to neighbors facing crisis, instability, or homelessness—regardless of race, religion, gender expression, or orientation.

Located next to our Tacoma Thrift Store, the Community Resource Center serves individuals and couples seeking immediate support and connection to resources.
Open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
10 AM – 3 PM No appointment necessary

👨‍👩‍👧 Family Resource Center (FRC)
5050 South Tacoma Way, Tacoma
The Family Resource Center supports families with children, multigenerational households, and young adults (18 - 24).
Open Monday – Friday
9:30 AM - 4:30 PM No appointment necessary.

St Vincent de Paul of Tacoma, Pierce County provides financial, material and spiritual support and assistance designed to promote self-sufficiency, stability and provide basic needs to our neighbors in need regardless of race, religion or orientation.

We provide a continuum of care to persons facing crisis, instability and homelessness. Together, we address critical needs such as housing solutions, shelter solutions, substance abuse disorder support, mental health stability, support for Hispanic and Native American populations, and basic survival needs for both housed and unhoused individuals.

We are a local, non-profit, catholic lay organization, serving people in need since 1926. We help without judgment and with a deep regard for our shared humanity.

CRC, located at 4009 S. 56th adjacent to the Thrift off South Tacoma Way is open Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat & Sun from 10 am - 3 pm.

FRC, located at 5050 South Tacoma Way is open Mon - Fri from 9:30 am - 4:30pm to serve families and young adults (18-24).

No appointment needed. Walk-Ins welcome.
